Hardscapes refer to materials like stamped concrete, bricks, and pavers. These materials often compliment decks very well and are often used in conjunction with them. Instead of installing one material over a large area, such as a deck, we’ve begun incorporating hardscapes with decks. This not only breaks up the monotony of a single material, but it enables us to create a separate environment, and usually at a lesser cost. Hardscapes are also ideal for wood burning fire pits.
