Our Process

First, contact us and let us know the extent of the damage, if an adjuster been to your home, and if your insurance company has provided you with an estimate for the repairs.  Next, we will set up a time to visit your property to see the damage.  We will work directly with your insurance company to finalize the estimate, then we perform and manage the project for you.  Hiring a third party like Stewart Remodeling is such an important piece because it protects you from losing money or paying for inferior work.  We also take communication with insurance companies and adjusters off your plate.

Types of Insurance Repairs?

We can make most interior or exterior repairs, such as kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, roofs, and more.  We don’t take on smaller jobs like drywall repairs, replacing sections of fence, tiling a laundry room floors, etc.  Small jobs wouldn’t be cost effective for either of us.

Additional Improvements

Many of our clients like to make improvements outside of the scope of the insurance repair. For instance, if your bathroom has substantial water damage and most of it will be replaced, then it makes sense to consider enlarging the shower or installing better cabinets.  We’ve even worked with architects to change entire floor plans on homes that have suffered extensive damage.

Why Stewart Remodeling

We’ve found that most people would prefer to work with a reputable local company than a national firm.  The problem is, most local contractors that perform interior remodeling either don’t work with insurance companies or don’t know how to.  We are not only a local company, but we also work with insurance companies and have been successfully remodeling residences since 1999.
