I was born in St. Joseph Missouri and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago Illinois. My Mother worked as sales manager for a real estate developer and home builder and introduced me to the world of residential construction at the age of 14. I started out as a laborer on the weekends and graduated into a carpenter’s apprentice by my junior year in high school. I achieved an Associates Degree in Business from The College of DuPage and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Southern Illinois University.
As a child I developed a passion for the Rocky Mountains on my first ski trip to Colorado in the early 1980’s. The mountains had been calling ever since. I moved to Colorado in 1996, where I could truly enjoy the outdoors. My hobbies are skiing, golfing, hiking, camping and rock hounding. I enjoy spending as much time as possible in the great outdoors with my wonderful wife and daughter whom are both Colorado natives. We are blessed to share a passion for the Rocky Mountains and the treasures they hold, forming many fond memories together on our adventures.
I have a combined 25 years of experience in construction related fields having worked as a carpenter, a geotechnical engineering technician, an asphalt quality control manager, a production manager and an estimator/project manager. My career has allowed me to work in many places throughout Colorado, including Denver, Vail, and Steamboat Springs. I am now thrilled to call Colorado Springs my home. What I really enjoy about my work is the satisfaction of helping others achieve their home improvement goals.
