Early in the demo process, the team came across a structural issue. I was worried it would totally derail the project, but the project manager made extra effort to quickly get house plans from the city to determine how the original framing was done in the demo area. We hired Stewart Remodel-Design-Build to custom-build our sunroom and deck. They were a pleasure to work with . . . thorough, professional, and thoughtful. They worked closely with us, designing the project, checking on building codes, and adjusting when codes unexpectedly changed. They made suggestions for improvements to better meet our goals or stay within budget, while paying attention to our wants and needs with great attention to detail. Their workers were polite, thoughtful, and neat. They gave us a heads-up when there might be extra noise or dust, so we could adjust our plans, and if we couldn't, they adjusted theirs. They rescheduled outdoor/indoor work according to weather, so little time was lost, rarely taking breaks. We trusted them with a key when we had to go out-of-town, and they even fed our cat. We interviewed four remodeling companies, talked to their designers, reviewed proposals, met with their project managers, and did many walk-throughs. The 4th (and last) company we interviewed was Stewart Remodel-Design-Build. On a referral from our neighbor, we met with Tom Stewart. He did not ask for a deposit or commitment before he visited our home. He listened to what we wanted to do and shared some ideas. Within a few minutes of talking to Tom, we were absolutely convinced his company was the best fit for our project.

Our new home was in desperate need of a new kitchen. Stewart's helped us with a new floor plan, new cabinets and countertops and I couldn't be happier with the results. The cabinets are top quality. Our project manager, Matthew, was easy to work with and our designer, Tera, added some extra visual interest in the cabinets that really make the kitchen unique. Remodeling a kitchen while living in the house is a long, dirty process but this was totally worth it and we love our new kitchen.

My wife and I approached Stewart Remodel-Design-Build about expanding and remodeling our master shower stall. Our old master shower was nothing more than a phone booth-sized space with nothing particularly special about it. It was not a complimentary part of our master bathroom and we had water leakage issues, which were causing mold to form under our wood floors in the hallway opposite the shower.
We started a design process with Stewart Remodel-Design-Build which ultimately lead to an extensive remodeling of our shower including a concrete/tile floor, new shower head, control and lighting, custom shelving, a fold-down seat and wrap-around, frameless glass. The work stayed on-schedule, was completed in the time predicted, was on-budget and absolutely flawless. We love it and highly recommend Stewart Remodel-Design-Build.

We chose Stewart Remodel-Design-Build from the four contractors we interviewed and are still very happy with our choice. They came in with a reasonable quote and Tom Stewart took us serious as customers, where other remodeling contractors and other contractors we have dealt with for other projects do not because we are younger. We also chose Stewart Remodel-Design-Build because they have a full team to handle our remodeling project. Tera listened to what me and my husband wanted and helped us find a visually appealing compromise between our contrasting tastes. Matt, the project manager, made sure everything was done on time and was done correctly. Matt also answered any questions we had at any time of the day. Everyone did a great job of cleaning up every night and didn't do any major damage besides touching up some paint to the rest of the house.

This was our first ever remodel, so we weren't sure what we were getting into.
